WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR WEBSITE IF YOU DIE?
think about in your last will and testament, but it is. It’s an asset you own, and it needs to be sold, dissolved, or left to someone you trust to continue running it.
Otherwise everything just sits there in virtual space, lost and forgotten, collecting dust.

Google Buzz "Follow up"
In 4 days people has created buttons, Browser plugins, and now this - A nice looking desktop client based on Adobe AIR.
Unfortunately, the only cool thing about it, is the interface. GBD (Google Buzz Desktop) emulates the iPhone so it is like having the mobile version on your desktop. The client updated every 2 minutes, but without notifications it's quite useless. Also, there's no geolocation support - so basically you can do the same and more from your Gmail.
Here are some screenshots - If you wish to try it yourself, click here to download.

e-commerce business model. Revenues are generated with commission on sale. Moreover the sellers pay for a page to exist on the site. Packages differ from just selling products or launching a whole company campaign.
Buyers or customers have many advantages related to selling prices varying from 20 to 70%. They have a divers choice of many brands and different products. The online boutique is helpful in a sense of being accessible anytime, anywhere. In order to attract its customers VP launched a private sale section called VP Lounge for luxurious and/or special products. They set an excellent client service with a limited time of answer.
As per Journal Du Net, VP owns 90 to 95% of market shares what makes the competition hard even though the internet e commerce sites are numerous (Fashionshopping, BrandAley, Cdiscount, Clubatcost…).

Work Like You Own It!
In my today's job I get to meet different people from all kind of positions. My job - being mentored by my Boss who's an excellent design thinking woman - puts me in touch with Hoteliors, to know their strategy, their business, the way they breath, how they act, they react, they treat their guests, they present and develop their products and businesses. My job consists in getting to feel my customers and find the way and the words to embed their thoughts, their feelings, and even their spirit to their site.
In my last meeting, I had a wonderful chance to meet another excellent open minded women, Director of Marketing of a huge property, an operation of several hundreds rooms and personnel, who thought of making a categoric change in her operation by implementing an internal (personnel) and external (guests) independent spirit. She understood and she felt that today's business can not succeed if her teams do not have the "self belonging spirit". They do not assist her, they do not work for her, they are independant people working in an independant environment. All ideas are welcomed, discussed, debated and adapted...or not.
This beautiful place has been transformed into a magical one, as soon as you get there, the whole atmosphere seems to be so independant, so much, that you can not feel other than being home, as independant as you could be at your place.
Working like you own it means that you take pride in your work, and will never allow yourself to give anything less than excellence every time.
What if we all try to live this spirit in our companies by implementing the independance attitude...

Hotel chain offers human bed warmers
According to scientific studies, 20 ° to 24 ° is the ideal temperature for a good sleeping. It has been proven that human body must reach a certain warmth “to fall into the arms of Morpheus”. Problem: Your hotel’s bed is often cooled by abusive air conditioning, and winter and its attendant weather cools your body, such as after a journey on foot in the snow! Rather than using a hot water bottle or electric blanket, the Holiday Inn chain has decided to experiment, starting the end of January, in some of these institutions, the human hot water bottle.
No spitfire nor arsonists: do not worry! Just the hotel staff that is dedicated to warm your bed a few minutes before you dive in there. These water bottles are actually human dressed in integral heating suit and remain few minutes in your bed. The story does not say if the employee can remain at your side all night in case of sudden cold night. This free service is offered at this time in the hotel chain in London and Manchester.

....InnoCentive....
Let us summarize it in 5 steps :

I have a problem : A Seeker identifies a Challenge and works with InnoCentive’s Client Services team to define it, articulate it, and post it on the InnoCentive@Work website.

Each Challenge is connected to an open internal forum that makes it easy for Seekers to communicate freely with Solvers. Solvers can engage in intellectually stimulating problem solving while earning rewards and recognition.

The entire discussion is fully open and available for all Solvers to read and contribute. Solvers are encouraged to critique and build on each other's ideas and thoughts, dramatically increasing the speed and quality of final solutions.

At the end of the discussion period the Seeker reviews the details and decides which Solvers have made the greatest contributions toward solving
the problem.

Solvers who provide the most valuable input based on active involvement, fresh thinking, and business impact are rewarded with cash, prizes, or points, as part of
an internal recognition program.
This is how InnoCentive team explains the procedure. Looking at the idea and the issue out of it seems to be great, powerful, interesting....but if we dig a bit and look behind the scene, we cannot miss the point that this business (InnoCentive, Yourencore, Tekscout...)can promote online work (less cost) and on another hand collaborate on less recruitment in R&D services (more expensive).
Although we say that innovation and ideas exchange can evolve through interaction, are we going into a new whole era of virtuality...
So again, the question to be asked : What Will TOMORROW Looks Like?!
Last but not least, if i was to think of a new InnoCentive strategy, I would have increased the commission of 10% on the rewards and utilize this amount of money to organize some gathering for all solvers in their respective areas for REAL exchanges of ideas and meetings.

A Tokyo-style "pod hotel" in central London

A Tokyo-style 'pod hotel' will open in central London's famous tourist spot the Trocadero.
Westminster Council has given planning permission for a 495-room hotel with rooms as small as 12sq m.
It takes its inspiration from Japanese hotels which have capsules for rooms to make use of space in crowded cities.
The hotel, between the second and seventh floors of the Grade II listed building, will be ready in time for the London 2012 Olympics.

Have a New Business Idea? Here's What You Should Do First
Almost every great business, both big and small, can trace its roots to an entrepreneur (or more often, a couple of entrepreneurs) with only their determination and an idea for a new enterprise. The very first step for almost any entrepreneur tends to be the idea: finding something that other companies don’t do well or simply don’t do at all.
What Is Social Networking?
An interesting article that I would like to share with you.
Social networking web-sites allow registered users to upload profiles, post comments, join "networks" and add "friends." They give registered users the opportunity to form "links" between each other based on friendships, hobbies, personal interests, and business sector or academic affiliations. Social networking sites can be used both personally, to contact friends and find old classmates, and professionally, to look for employment or find someone with whom to collaborate. Most social networking systems are available to all users. Some are available by invitation (or special qualification) only. Most began with a personal focus on linking "friends," but many now focus on both business and personal networking.
